The Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join the Web Marketplace team at Depop. Web is a fast-moving, high-priority surface — and this role sits at the centre of it.

You'll be the dedicated designer across a broad portfolio of product teams, leading the design of critical, revenue-generating features across Wallet, Trust & Safety, and Shipping. You'll work at pace with engineering teams who are ready to build, and you'll be expected to operate autonomously from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for high-priority web features, including Wallet (withdrawals, respend), Trust & Safety (age verification, reviews, risk-based pre-chat verification), and Shipping (AUS, ML v3, seller-subsidised shipping, pricing promos)

  • Work cross-functionally across six product teams, aligning design decisions with product, engineering and data partners

  • Close the experience gap between iOS and web — not by copying iOS, but by designing for web-first patterns that meet users where they are

  • Contribute to design quality and consistency, working within Depop's Thrift Design System

  • Adapt quickly without sacrificing craft — this role requires both execution speed and high design standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience with end-to-end product design (UX & UI) across web and mobile

  • Strong grasp of web-specific UX and UI patterns — you understand where web and mobile diverge and design accordingly

  • Ability to work autonomously across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Figma

  • A portfolio showing high-quality, thoughtful UX and UI work — ideally including complex transactional or marketplace flows

  • Ability to translate research and data into clear design decisions

  • Effective communication of design rationale to cross-functional partners and senior collaborators

Nice to have

  • Experience designing payments, trust, or shipping-related product flows

  • Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace dynamics

  • Experience working within or contributing to a design system
