The Role
Depop is seeking a Workplace Manager to lead and scale all aspects of workplace operations and experience across our London HQ and Brooklyn office. This role involves end-to-end ownership of office operations, large-scale workplace programs and team leadership.
You will be responsible for building a high-performing and well-run workplace ensuring operational excellence across facilities, vendors, front-of-house, sustainability and service delivery – while also shaping in-office experiences that support how our teams connect and collaborate.
This role requires an experienced operator, program and team leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. You’ll bring structure, prioritisation and continuous improvement to a broad and visible function that plays a critical role in Depop’s culture, working closely with senior stakeholders in London and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Workplace operations & function leadership:
Own and lead all workplace operations for London HQ, ensuring a consistently high standard across facilities, services, safety and day-to-day office performance.
Set and maintain operational standards, processes and service levels across workplace, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and employee experience.
Line manage and develop the workplace and front-of-house team, setting clear priorities, driving accountability and building a high-performing function.
Embed sustainable operations, driving initiatives that reduce environmental impact and circular, low-waste practices across the office
Act as the primary escalation point for workplace issues, proactively identifying risks and resolving operational challenges with pace and sound judgement.
Program & Project Management
Lead the planning and delivery of complex workplace projects and programs (e.g. office improvements, space planning, new initiatives, vendor transitions), ensuring clear scoping, timelines, stakeholder alignment and execution.
Establish and embed strong project management practices across the workplace function, including prioritisation, cost analysis, tracking, reporting and post-project evaluation.
Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into clear workplace plans, balancing short-term delivery with longer-term strategy.
Vendor, Facilities & Service Management:
Own relationships with key vendors and service providers (facilities, cleaning, security, catering, maintenance), ensuring strong performance, accountability and value for cost.
Oversee contract management, service reviews and vendor performance metrics, driving continuous improvement and resolving issues effectively.
Partner with building management and external providers to maintain a safe, compliant and well-functioning workplace environment.
Workplace Experience & In-office Programming:
Design and deliver workplace programs and experiences that are operationally robust, scalable and aligned to Depop’s culture and business priorities.
Oversee logistics and delivery of key in-office moments & company events (e.g. All Hands, leadership sessions, team gatherings), ensuring seamless execution through strong planning and coordination.
Partner with Employee Comms, DEI, Learning & Development, Internal Operations, Executive Assistants and other teams to ensure workplace initiatives are cohesive, intentional and impactful.
Budget, Planning & Continuous Improvement:
Own and manage the workplace budget, tracking spend, forecasting needs and making informed, cost-effective decisions.
Use data, feedback and operational insight to identify trends, measure impact and continuously improve workplace performance and experience.
Build and maintain clear documentation, processes and ways of working that enable consistency, scalability and transparency across the function.
Culture, Collaboration & Global Alignment:
Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, acting as a trusted operational partner on workplace matters.
Collaborate with Workplace teams at a group / parent company level to align on standards, policies and shared initiatives, while tailoring solutions for Depop’s needs.
Champion a workplace environment that reflects Depop’s values through both operational excellence and thoughtful programming

Exceptional project and program management skills, with the ability to bring structure, clarity and momentum to multiple concurrent priorities.

Strong operational mindset, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, risk management and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
Ability to work 4 out of 5 days in the London office per week (this is an in-person, workplace-facing role).
Evidence working on high-impact, strategic workplace projects that support growth
Flexibility to support key workplace moments, including occasional early starts or later finishes.
Experienced in using collaboration tools such as Google Suite, Slack, Jira, or similar.
