Team Overview:
The People, Culture and Impact (PCI) team’s mission is to deliver a mission-driven experience that empowers the People of Depop to do their best work. As Depop continues its path to profitability and executes on its growth strategy, the team is shaping a people strategy which will underpin this growth.
The strategy (and the operations that underpin it) will ensure that Depop can grow scalably by building a culture of high performance and excellence, evolving organisational effectiveness and efficiency, and providing meaningful growth for our people. Role:
As a Talent Partner, you will play a key role in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across both technical and non-technical teams. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand talent needs, run efficient and inclusive hiring processes, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
A significant part of this role will involve managing high-volume recruitment, where you’ll balance speed with quality while maintaining strong alignment with stakeholders. You’ll bring strong sourcing expertise, a data-informed approach, and a deep commitment to DEI - ensuring our processes are fair, consistent, and reflective of our values.
Responsibilities:
Hiring & Stakeholder Partnership
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across both tech and non-tech roles, including high-volume hiring for key business functions.
Partner with hiring managers and Strategic People Partners to understand role requirements and support the development of effective recruitment strategies.
Act as a trusted partner to hiring teams, providing guidance on process, market trends, and best practices.
Sourcing & Talent Attraction
Implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates across a range of disciplines.
Use a variety of sourcing channels—LinkedIn, talent communities, networking events, and content engagement—to build diverse pipelines.
Maintain and nurture pools of potential candidates to support future hiring needs.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Serve as a DEI advocate within the hiring process, ensuring equitable sourcing, assessment, and decision-making practices.
Support initiatives that elevate DEI within recruitment and influence inclusive hiring behaviours across teams.
Candidate Experience & Process Excellence
Deliver a consistent, transparent, and engaging candidate experience at every touchpoint.
Support hiring managers in running structured, fair, and efficient interview processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support their implementation.
Data, Insights & Collaboration
Use recruitment metrics and analytics (in collaboration with our People Analyst) to track progress, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure seamless transitions for new hires and alignment across the employee lifecycle.
Contribute to Talent team and PCI-wide projects and cross-functional squads to support strategic priorities.
Requirements:
Experience managing full-cycle and high-volume recruitment across non-technical roles (e.g., business operations, marketing, customer support), with ideally some exposure to hiring for technical roles (e.g., engineering, data, product).
Proven success in hiring in fast-paced, high-growth or high-volume environments.
Strong sourcing skills, including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other market tools.
Ability to build trust and credibility with hiring managers and collaborate effectively across teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to stakeholders.
A data-driven mindset, with experience using applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday) and recruitment analytics to inform decisions.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple roles, pipelines, and competing priorities simultaneously.
Passion for and hands-on experience applying diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices in recruiting.
