The Job
We’re looking for an experienced Paid Search Manager to join our growing Performance Marketing team and play a key role in driving our Paid Search strategy forward. This is a particularly exciting time to join as we begin to in-house our Paid Search activity from an agency, providing the opportunity to make a real impact in shaping the direction, structure, and success of the channel. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Paid Media Manager in developing innovative, data-driven search strategies designed to achieve business-level KPIs and deliver measurable growth.
You’ll be hands-on in the day-to-day management of campaigns, analysing performance and making data-led decisions to drive results. Beyond campaign management, you’ll help define and execute a detailed testing roadmap, working closely with key stakeholders from our in-house Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams, working to improve paid search performance across our website and apps. This role will open opportunities to develop solutions using AI and Machine Learning, weaving them seamlessly into campaign optimisation and future strategies through feed optimisation, user targeting, bidding, creative strategies and more.
Our Paid Media team is dynamic and our channels have seen exponential growth over the past 5 years. As a team, we have full ownership across the entire media funnel; from upper-funnel brand activity to lower-funnel performance campaigns. This brings together a diverse mix of skill sets, spanning from strategy and planning through to hands-on execution allowing for end-to-end responsibility, ensuring both big picture thinking and tactical delivery sit within one collaborative unit.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Paid Media Manager to develop innovative Paid Search strategies with the goal to support business-level KPIs
Plan, execute, and optimise paid search campaigns (Text Ads and Shopping) to drive purchases within our efficiency goals
Assist in owning the end-to-end testing roadmap across ad copy, extensions, and landing pages to constantly improve campaign efficiency and scale, translating insights into tangible campaign improvements
Ownership over daily optimisation of bids, budgets, keywords, ad copy, and audiences, ensuring performance aligns with business KPIs monitoring and reporting on campaign performance
Support on incrementality testing across our Search portfolio
Collaborate with our Machine Learning and Product teams to build industry leading strategies through a series of testing and learning
Co-ordinate with the wider Paid Media team and marketing team for a cohesive approach to achieve shared objectives
Contribute to creative briefs with a Search-first perspective
Requirements
Hands-on Paid Search experience, agency or in-house, with retail/e-commerce exposure
Previous experience on App business working with an MMP
Knowledge of app-first user journeys (leveraging App Campaigns, SKAN/ATT measurement, and mobile-first tracking)
Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, App Campaigns, and confident using analytics tools (GA, Looker)
Familiarity with complex attribution and LTV models
Experience managing multiple campaigns and budgets at scale
Ability to confidently and effectively communicate across varying levels of seniority cross functionally
Good attention to detail and process building to ensure excellent implementation and execution of work
Proactive and eager to learn attitude, loves a challenge and has the capacity for independent thinking
Analytical capabilities and Google Sheet / Excel literate with the ability to use data to answer business questions.
