Job Title: C++ Software Engineer
Location: Brno-based, hybrid
Type: Full-time
The Intermediate Representation team (led by Martin Moráček) is responsible for designing and developing the IR representation created from the inputs provided by the frontends. The team also maintains the Python API for the IR. This API must remain stable across releases and should not change, even between major versions. While there are, of course, some exceptions, the general rule is that the API must remain backward compatible.
The IR team, led by Martin Moráček, is responsible for designing and developing the intermediate representation framework and supporting libraries used in the mid-end of our internal compiler. The team also maintains our SystemC-based simulation platform.
As a member of the IR team, you would:
- Extend the IR and related generators to support new hardware features
- Maintain and enhance our simulators and profiler
- Create and adapt test models and IR-level test cases to validate your work
- Track down and fix bugs along the way
What You Bring to The Table:
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial C++ development
- Knowledge of C++17/20 and STL
- Ability to write clear and concise code, defensive programming approach
- Analytical thinking, self-sufficiency, team collaboration
- Mindset resonating with agile software development
- Knowledge of English
