Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about IT, identity management (Okta) with knowledge of networks (ideally Meraki and Ubiquiti). This role requires you to be the subject matter expert on identity management in Okta to support the IT Operations team and the wider business.

Your daily duties will include configuring workflows, SSO deployments, administration of Google Workspace, Okta and Jumpcloud. Troubleshooting network/wifi issues across multiple sites using Meraki/Ubiquiti.

  • Jumpcloud administration
  • provide consulting & advice to the engineering team, IT team, and wider business, on security topics
  • Network and Wifi troubleshooting and administration (Meraki and Ubiquiti)
  • General IAM administration
  • Work closely with the HR business system engineer
  • Install and monitor security software (e.g. Crowdstrike, Cisco Umbrella)
  • Provision users for Single Sign On applications
  • Respond to business needs via helpdesk system (Freshservice)
  • Mobile device management with JAMF/MobiControl/Apple Business Manager

Skills, and Experience Required

  • Min 2 years of IAM experience (Okta)
  • Demonstrated experience in IAM best practices - certifications preferred
  • Experience in performing assessments across existing IAM practices and recommending improvements based on risk to the organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of the SAML protocol, useful when debugging SSO issues
  • Experience with wifi networks supporting multiple sites
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in working in a Google Workspace environment
  • Knowledge of Okta (and other SSO tools), Multi-Factor Authentication, Jumpcloud (not essential), Freshservice
  • Prior experience in creating documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to connect with all partners, to include leadership, system engineers and end users
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, establish credibility, and working relationship within internal and external partners to ensure a shared outcome
  • Effective communication and ability to convey solutions to business including comfort interacting with internal management and external partners
  • Good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail, ability to execute process, and follow through on tasks
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Desktop/Laptops, Apple technologies and Devices and network connectivity
  • Experience with Helpdesk ticket systems and management
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Inquisitive nature with an appetite to learn new technologies
  • Technical project delivery (automation, onboarding new applications etc)
  • Team player with a focus on customer delight
