A day in the life
We’re looking for a proactive FP&A Analyst to join ManyPets. You’ll play a key role in our financial planning cycle, consolidating data, building reporting and shaping insights the business can act on.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this is a hands-on role at the centre of our planning and performance cycle. It’s ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical and ready to turn complex datasets into clear, actionable stories.
You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative, mission-driven environment where finance is a true partner to the business.
Your responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyse financial data across multiple sources
- Maintain and enhance our rolling financial model, coordinating inputs across teams
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to support decision-making
- Streamline workflows and simplify large datasets through automation
- Help turn business initiatives into measurable financial results
- Support ad hoc analysis and strategic planning initiatives
- Build clear, user-friendly documentation
Your skills and experience
- ~2 years of experience in finance, business analysis or related filed (no accounting qualification required)
- Strong Excel skills – confident handling large datasets, complex formulas, automations
- Confident in PowerPoint and creating compelling, “storytelling” decks
- Hands-on attitude – comfortable diving into details while keeping the big picture in sight
- Strong attention to detail, highly organised, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Nice to have - exposure to FP&A, insurance, tech or other data-heavy industries; and experience with Power BI tools or SQL
Ways of working
On a typical day you’ll be working from a laptop with a screen, mouse, keyboard, and headset. You’ll be meeting your colleagues on Zoom and keeping in touch regularly via email and Slack too – we’d expect you to be using your computer for around seven hours a day. We’d ask that you have a distraction-free work area and a reliable internet connection with a speed of 25Mbps so you can work effectively. We’ll make sure you have the right home set-up that supports you in the role by providing best-in-class technology, money towards a desk, and vision support.
