About the team: Part of a growing Solutions Engineering team, you will work alongside Account Managers as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle. You will help customers evaluate, integrate and maximise the value of ICIS data, supporting discovery, solution design and technical validation activities across complex sales opportunities.
About the role:
The Journey: Your First 90 Days
30-days: You will build a strong understanding of the ICIS data portfolio, data channels and customer use cases. You will shadow discovery calls, customer workshops and technical discussions to understand how organisations consume and operationalise market intelligence within their business workflows.
90-days: You will be actively supporting sales opportunities, leading technical discovery sessions, qualifying customer requirements and helping customers design approaches for integrating ICIS data into their analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.
This role is suited to an inquisitive technical practitioner who enjoys solving customer problems and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will architect how ICIS market intelligence integrates into customer data, analytics and AI ecosystems. Working alongside Account Managers, you will lead technical discovery, develop a deep understanding of customer technology environments, and design approaches that enable ICIS data to power business workflows and decision-making.
You will serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, documenting customer architectures, data flows and requirements, while guiding customers towards solutions that maximise the value of ICIS intelligence within their existing platforms and emerging AI initiatives.
You will also act as a key link between customers and internal teams, providing market feedback that helps shape our products, delivery capabilities and future roadmap.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
Partner on Technical Strategy: Lead technical discovery to understand customer objectives, existing technology landscapes and how data supports critical business workflows. Translate customer requirements into practical solution approaches and identify how ICIS data can create measurable business value.
Navigate the Sales Lifecycle: Act as the technical lead throughout the sales process, applying structured sales and qualification methodologies to identify stakeholders, business drivers, technical requirements and architectural considerations. Support technical validation, proof-of-value activities and remove barriers to achieving a successful technical win.
Architect for the Customer AI Landscape: Collaborate with customers as they navigate the emerging AI landscape. You will identify and design the critical integration points where ICIS data provides a reliable foundation for their AI-driven decision-engines.
Enable the Ecosystem: Collaborate with customers, implementation partners and System Integrators to optimise how they consume ICIS data across data platforms, workflows and pipelines. Share best practices that help customers accelerate adoption and maximise the value of their investment.
Inform Product Strategy: Act as a key contributor to our internal feedback loop, relaying market trends and product gaps to our Product and Marketing teams to shape future strategy.
