About the role

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Level 1), you’ll lead reliability and automation work that reduces manual effort and improves service health. You’ll help teams observe and troubleshoot distributed systems, automate safe recovery, and protect agreed service levels. You’ll also participate in an on‑call rotation, support incident response, and share knowledge—informally mentoring and guiding more junior engineers. This role supports the expansion of cloud-native applications and the creation of a new hosted API service. The DevOps/SRE team builds shared CI/CD capabilities and helps product teams adopt cloud-compatible practices.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and services

  • Partner with development, QA, and performance teams to support cloud migration (deployment guidance, tooling, and best practices)

  • Provision and maintain environments using infrastructure as code

  • Strengthen observability (monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing) and support secure operations

  • Improve reliability through automation, resilient design patterns, and incident learnings

  • Enable elastic scaling and cost awareness (capacity planning, right-sizing, and guardrails)

Requirement

  • Strong experience working with large-scale, multi-tenant cloud applications, including end‑to‑end ownership of CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on production supervision and operational support of mission‑critical cloud platforms
  • Proven expertise with container orchestration and infrastructure provisioning tools, including Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Solid experience operating in Linux-based environments
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, and ArgoCD
  • Strong adherence to “Everything as Code” principles, including Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and Pipeline as Code
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of ownership, service mindset, and collaboration across engineering and business teams

Good to Have

  • Certification in one of the most usual Clouds (AWS or Azure, GCP or OpenShift is a plus)

  • Experience in Agile/SAFe environment

  • Oral and written English in an international environment
