About the Role
The Manager, Platform Product Management leads the strategy, delivery, and adoption of shared insurance platform capabilities, supporting outcomes delivered through platform modernization and developer enablement initiatives. This role is accountable for running and supporting existing monolithic platform infrastructure while managing the evolution of modernized, API driven and batch enabled capabilities to ensure stability, scalability, and continuity. The manager helps establish Platform Product Management as a core organizational capability by driving clear ownership, consistent practices, and effective collaboration across teams. Success is measured by platform adoption, developer productivity, operational reliability, reduced integration complexity, and steady progress toward more modern platform capabilities.
In addition, this role manages people, with responsibility for the recruitment, development, and performance of a team focused on product onboarding and enablement, while also informally leading cross functional contributors across product, technology, operations, and support.
This role will be Alpharetta, GA based – 3 days in office
Responsibilities
Customer Focus - deeply understand customer and market needs, use data and direct engagement to anticipate trends, and align cross functional teams to refine solutions while considering competitors, regulations, and market segments
Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis - use data and KPIs to guide product decisions, skillfully analyze and interpret information from multiple sources, coach others in data-driven problem solving, and identify the key metrics and dashboards needed to track progress and ensure team success.
Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle - lead the creation and execution of go‑to‑market launch plans, produce and coach others on PR and sales/marketing materials, and take independent ownership of assigned launch and strategy responsibilities.
Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle - understand the end-to-end product experience and SDLC, ensure teams drive key customer value metrics, oversee major lifecycle components, position features effectively using insights, and make decisions that balance both internal considerations and external market impact.
Strategy & Commercial Acumen - define and communicate product vision and strategy, guide teams in assessing market opportunities, understand key P&L drivers, build business cases for investment, and use data to inform strong commercial decisions.
Technical Skills - understand the product’s broader technology stack, comfortably analyze data with common software tools, and leverage or extend the company’s platform technologies to build new product features.

Requirements
Suggested Minimum Years of PM Experience: 8 years
Development and execution of a business-case level investment.
Track record of hiring and managing people
Education to Qualify: Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential. MBA or management degree desirable.
