About the Team
The Project/Program Management team is responsible for driving critical initiatives that support enterprise operational excellence and technology transformation. This role will specifically support the AI/Knowledge function within the Five9 telephony migration project and Salesforce. The team collaborates closely with cross‑functional partners, business stakeholders, and technology groups to ensure successful delivery of high‑impact projects aligned with organizational goals.
About the Role
The Project Manager II will plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees project planning, staffing, resources, scheduling, progress tracking, and issue resolution, ensuring all deliverables meet standards for quality, reliability, cost, and timelines. Operating as a developing professional, the individual will work with guidance from senior team members while applying foundational project management knowledge to solve routine problems, analyze solutions, and support continuous improvement. The role will play a key part in delivering the AI/knowledge support workstream for Five9 and ensuring alignment with broader telephony migration objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed program and project plans including goals, scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
Align project objectives with team and company strategic priorities.
Establish project tasks, milestones, and delivery schedules.
Assign responsibilities and coordinate activities across project team members.
Track program progress and measure outcomes against organizational goals.
Prepare and deliver clear progress reports and stakeholder updates.
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Identify and mitigate risks impacting program delivery.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise throughout project execution.
Recommend schedule adjustments, resource needs, or cost changes as appropriate.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes, practices, and workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role with a track record of successful delivery.
Experience with Knowledge Centered Support (KCS) preferred, including acting as a Publisher and/or Coach.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and resources.
Working knowledge of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and multiple stakeholder groups.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
