About the team: The Payments Efficiency team helps global businesses optimise payments, reduce risk, and unlock growth through data‑driven, market‑leading solutions. We help the world’s leading businesses make payments faster, safer, and more efficient—combining deep payments expertise with real commercial impact.

About the role: Acts as a central point of coordination for the Payments Efficiency commercial agenda, aligning market planning, marketing, and sales strategies. Provides pre‑sales and sales engineering expertise, contributing technical and commercial input to bids, proposals, and customer engagements. Collaborates closely with sales teams to recommend tailored solutions, support product demonstrations, identify growth opportunities, and inform the product roadmap, while maintaining strong knowledge of internal and competitor offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with external clients to provide expertise and guidance in translating how LexisNexis Payments Efficiency products and solutions meet the client’s needs

  • Interact with internal clients (e.g., LexisNexis Sales teams) to provide leadership, guidance, and inspiration to identify opportunities

  • Identify new growth segments and define strategies for accelerating sales

  • Evaluate the market area performance on a continuing basis and establish the proper measures of performance

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of payment market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to support sales activities

  • Track and report Sales pipeline activities to ensure overall pipeline health

  • Document new product opportunities obtained through client interactions.

  • Work closely with Strategy/Market Planning and Product Management to develop tactical plans to execute their strategic plan/vision

  • Achieve near and long-term revenue targets

Requirements:

  • Payments subject‑matter expert with deep knowledge of customer acquisition across consumer and business segments

  • Strong understanding of the global payments ecosystem, including A2A payments, clearing, messaging, and regulation

  • Expert in Payments Efficiency solutions, including Bankers Almanac KYC, Payment Routing, and Validate

  • Proven ability to interpret complex business challenges and apply best‑practice commercial solutions

  • Advanced problem‑solving skills, resolving complex issues within established frameworks

  • Strong customer engagement, stakeholder influence, and relationship‑building capabilities

  • Experience leading projects and acting as a best‑practice and quality authority

  • In‑depth knowledge of key customer segments, ERP and banking platforms, and industry systems

  • Excellent project management, analytical, and time‑management skills with the ability to work independently
