Responsibilities

• Own the overall test automation strategy and drive systematic quality improvements across UI and API layers by working closely with engineering, product, and UX teams.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test cases for new and existing features to ensure quality, reliability, and stability under changing conditions

• Identify, log, track, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects effectively.

• Participate in daily standups and QA planning sessions to report test progress, highlight risks, and align on priorities and future tasks.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong teamwork and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to design, execute, and maintain both automated and manual test scenarios.

• Expertise in test automation, including designing automation strategies and developing/maintaining automated test suites across UI and API layers using frameworks such as Playwright and/or Cypress.

• Strong API testing experience using tools like Postman.

• Ability to identify, log, track, and help troubleshoot defects end-to-end using bug tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Experience with performance testing using tools like JMeter.

• Knowledge and practical understanding of CI/CD practices and build/automation pipelines.

• Proficiency in version control, especially Git.

• Familiarity with quality processes across the entire software development lifecycle.

• Experience using AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

• making and coordinate cross-functional quality assurance activities to drive measurable quality improvements.

Desirable

• Experience deploying or working with applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Understanding of continuous integration tooling such as TeamCity and containerization tools such as Docker.

• Exposure to database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical / IT field.

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience including 2+ years in senior or mentorship role.

• Experience working in a developer enablement or platform engineering role.
