About the Team
You’ll join a collaborative squad that includes a Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Development Lead, Developers, and Testers. Our squad model encourages teamwork, shared responsibility, and efficient delivery—everyone contributes to achieving a common goal.
About the Role
In this role, you will support research, design, and systems engineering activities. You will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, manage system processes, and help ensure stable and reliable operations. This is an excellent opportunity for early‑career professionals who are eager to learn, grow, and expand their technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Create or maintain simple JCL scripts or automation scripts to support system workloads
Use problem‑solving skills to support tasks across different operating environments
Apply basic knowledge of systems (storage, Linux/UNIX/Windows environments, etc.) to complete assigned work
Identify and help diagnose system performance issues. Install, troubleshoot, or update programs in supported environments
Perform system functions such as editing files and using utility tools. Assist in developing scripts and tools that improve automation and repeatability
Support system recovery processes and escalate issues when needed
Monitor assigned systems, identify unusual responses, and report findings
Work collaboratively with other support teams to refine monitoring, reporting, and analysis. Document tasks, changes, and requests clearly and accurately, contribute to additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
3+ year of experience in systems engineering, system administration, DevOps, or a related technical field
Understanding of Job Control Language (JCL) or willingness to learn
Foundational knowledge of one or more system environments (e.g., Linux, UNIX, Windows)
Familiarity with storage or file systems is helpful
Exposure to virtual server environments or thin clients is beneficial
Interest or experience in scripting for automation
Eagerness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies. Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and document work
