About the Role

As the Manager, Software Engineering, you will guide and support software development teams in delivering high-quality solutions. This role emphasizes inclusive leadership, team growth, and efficient project execution. You will foster collaboration, provide necessary resources and encouragement, and ensure the team’s work aligns with organizational goals while supporting individual development.

Responsibilities

Collaboration and Communication

• Engage with business stakeholders, product managers, customers, and cross-functional partners to ensure everyone’s needs are considered.

• Oversee the software development lifecycle, including planning, delivery, and resource management.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within a large organization with excellent technical leadership and proficient with Agile Software Development, Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise and proven experience in various staffing and resource models and leading multiple development squads. Ability to engage and liaise with stakeholders across all functions.
• Implementation, integration and management of complex solutions (distributed, multi-platform, multi-technology).
• Advanced organization/project planning and estimation, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and advanced delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity.
• Strong experience of .NET, MVC, Web API and JavaScript SPA frameworks (preferably Angular), Database knowledge (SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Experience of on-premises, virtualization and cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services or Azure.
• Solid knowledge of Security Engineering best practices, DevOps, Build and Deployment automation (Docker and Kubernetes desirable).
