About the Role
As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue objectives. You’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships at all levels within client organizations, and act as a trusted advisor to help clients realize the full value of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services. Your consultative approach and business acumen will enable you to uncover client needs, articulate compelling solutions, and drive positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned accounts, identifying revenue opportunities and outlining targeted activities to maximize market penetration with RISK products and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients and prospects, acting as a liaison between sales support and customers to deliver superior service and solutions.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client industries, business needs, and competitive landscapes, enabling you to position RISK offerings effectively.
- Forecast revenue, manage resources, and develop key contacts and business relationships, including with high-level decision makers.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, needs analysis, and solution selling.
- Maintain a deep understanding of RISK products, pricing, and competitive offerings, and clearly communicate the value and advantages of our solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues, implement solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously develop your professional skills through internal and external educational programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of proven sales experience or relevant industry/product experience, preferably in a professional sales environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including persuasive presentation abilities.
- Excellent organizational and forecasting skills.
- Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of RISK products and services and apply them to client needs.
- Demonstrated networking capabilities, professional demeanor, and business maturity.
- Technical proficiency with PC and business applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 40–60% as required.
