About the Role
The Product Manager I will own one or more products, including all features and lead project execution for both mature and new products. They will own product development plans and represent those plans within the cross-functional team proposing new feature ideas that address a customer pain point or need based on his/her deep and firsthand understanding of the customer. He/she will prioritize and communicate production customer issues and defects based on relevant data for timely resolution and lead the demo to key stakeholders at program milestones.
Candidate can be remote in the US but should expect to be available regularly in EST
Responsibilities
Customer Focus
Interacts frequently with customers and generates customer requirements.
Anticipates customer needs and prioritizes those for the organization.
Engage in validation and verification of public record information, as required, in support of customer engagements
Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis
Actively gathers data from multiple sources (customer, market analysis, sales and revenue, etc.) to drive solutions to business problems and issues of consequence to the company.
Demonstrates the ability to make trade-off decisions between potential product capabilities
Performs targeted data research in support of customer-based projects
Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle
Executes on go to market launch plans as required.
Works directly with internal business partners, e.g. sales to gather and assess product needs in the marketplace.
Contributes to building collateral and marketing materials and provides input and expertise.
Directly addresses customer concerns and feedback.
Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle
Can manage a mature product set, while also being nimble enough to take on and manage new projects.
Leads the execution of a product roadmap for each assigned project.
Writes clear, concise User Stories and/or Business Requirements & all related Product Documentation, as required. Delivers Presentations to various departments and educates all stakeholders on new products & features prior to release.
Leverages tools to coordinate activities and ensure quality based on the development methodology in place.
Defines and prioritizes requirement changes for engineering and performs analysis to meet acceptance criteria.
Participates and contributes to process improvement activities.
Requirements
Comfortable leading and facilitating conversations with technical and non-technical teams.
Minimum Years of PM Experience: 2-4 years
Bachelors or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential.
Experience with Product Management Lifecycle a plus!
Experience in Government or Law Enforcement industries and/or public records is also plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
Demonstrated readiness to engage in customer interactions.
Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.
