About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager or Scrum Master who brings strong Agile knowledge and a commitment to inclusive collaboration. In this role, you will serve as Scrum Master for a Software Squad and oversee product delivery projects for our Transactions Screening Services software development team. This new opportunity is open to candidates from all backgrounds with relevant experience and a drive to solve complex challenges. You will lead key projects while working closely with Product, Professional Services, and Engineering teams in a supportive environment.

The Project Manager I supports the Project Management team and is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring completion within agreed time frames and quality standards. You will manage all phases of the project through the Product Development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Market Vertical, Product Management, Engineering, Testing, and Legal. This position offers the chance to work closely with talented engineering professionals and utilize industry-leading technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support an agile product development team delivering new features and capabilities (teams typically range from 4–8 members, but we welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to apply)
  • Promote the effective use of project and technology tools, ensuring accountability, resource and budget tracking, and timely reporting with key metrics to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues, escalate as needed, and communicate impacts clearly and accessible to all team members
  • Recommend improvements to current processes and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous learning and openness to new perspectives
  • Work collaboratively with the Software Development Lead and Product Owner to keep teams aligned and features well planned, ensuring accessible communication for all
  • Partner with diverse internal stakeholder groups, encouraging early engagement and broad participation to achieve effective support
  • Facilitate strong collaboration, share best practices, and help remove barriers so all team members can contribute to their fullest
  • Support key technical functions with care and attention, ensuring standards are met and quality is maintained in an inclusive manner

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in project leadership (all levels of formal and informal leadership considered)
  • Practical experience with Kanban or Scrum, or willingness to learn and grow in Agile environments
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience managing web-based application projects is helpful, but equivalent experience in related fields is also valued
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others, supporting colleagues of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Openness to adopting new ways of working in pursuit of adding value to customers and the team
  • Awareness of software industry best practices (such as code coverage, reviews, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous improvement mindset) is beneficial, but we encourage applications from those willing to learn
