About the role:
As a Business Development Manager your purpose is to achieve sales targets by conducting the discovery, presenting and selling solutions to potential customers. You will prospect and qualify leads, establish relationships, and provide product demonstrations. Your focus will be on developing the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, Montenegro, BIH, North Macedonia, Kosovo), working with Banking, Fintech & Corporate sectors. Travel will be required to support customers and attend industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation (proactive prospecting will be a focus) and closing deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Understanding your prospects’ goals and objectives, overall business requirements, and to advise them on how LNRS can help.
- Creating a high-quality pipeline and ensuring that all pipeline activity is accurately documented in the CRM system.
- Working closely with other Sales Executives on complex deals
- Putting the customer first providing timely response and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
- Prioritizing face to face engagement
- Driving market initiatives, supporting market planning, marketing and product development teams in order to maximize new business opportunities within the geographic/industry sector markets
Experience / Qualifications:
- Fluent English is a must, any Balkan languages will be a bonus.
- Have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in Banking/Fintech markets is a bonus.
- Possess excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Be able to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Develop an in depth understanding of LexisNexis Risk Solution products and solutions.
- Be proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
