About the Role
ICIS is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Poland, focused on driving growth across the CEE and CIS regions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for our chemical solutions portfolio. You’ll engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, and position ICIS offerings to deliver value. Working closely with internal teams, you'll support the execution of regional sales strategies and contribute to the overall success of our commercial goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Leading business development across CEE and CIS, focused on ICIS’s chemical solutions portfolio.
  • Identifying and acquiring new clients in key sectors such as chemicals, manufacturing, and energy.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders through a consultative, value-led sales approach.
  • Positioning tailored solutions that address client needs and drive measurable business impact.
  • Managing the full sales cycle and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and CRM tools.

Qualifications :

  • Strong self-motivation and energy, able to quickly build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Business English and Polish; additional Eastern European languages are a plus.
  • Able to confidently engage senior stakeholders in strategic business conversations.
  • Demonstrates effective cold calling, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Brings experience in value-based solution selling within a Business Development role.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong commercial awareness and drive to succeed.
  • Able to adapt to changing market needs and client priorities.
