About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Product Owner to join our Firco Insight Product . In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that our product roadmap is executed efficiently. You will work closely with Managed Services, Platform teams, and Product Management to define and deliver key product enhancements, manage sprint goals, and oversee backlog prioritization.
This role requires strong collaboration, organizational skills, and an understanding of the software development lifecycle to drive feature development from ideation to release.
Ideal candidate is local to Alpharetta, GA who can come onsite for occasional meetings or remote on the East Coast.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Product Management, Managed Services, and Platform teams to gather and refine requirements.
Software Development Lifecycle Understanding: Ensure all product development follows agile best practices, from backlog grooming to sprint planning and delivery.
User Story Creation: Write clear and detailed product user stories, including customer-specific configurations and business requirements.
Sprint Execution: Work with the development team to define sprint goals, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
Roadmap Execution: Assist the Product Manager in tracking key initiatives and breaking them into achievable milestones.
Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product Jira backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
Product Backlog Reviews: Participate in backlog refinement sessions, providing input and clarifications to developers.
Release Readiness: Attend Go/No-Go meetings before product releases to verify that all promised features and fixes meet client expectations.
Release Documentation: Draft and review release notes for client communication, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in product ownership or business analysis within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
Requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development processes.
Ability to translate business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience with Jira or similar backlog management tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and ability to track multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Prior experience in RegTech, FinTech, or Compliance Technology is a plus.

Position is eligible for base salary plus an annual bonus.
